The snow is still on the tops
of the mountains, but long gone from the Midway
valley. The golf courses are busy and flowers
are beginning to appear in window boxes
throughout the town. Spring is also a good time
to start construction on a house. Several house
plans have been submitted to Midway City and two
have already been started. The first two homes
under construction are being built by our
preferred builders,
Magleby Companies
and
Jody Riggs Construction.
Magleby Companies is preparing to enter their
home in the upcoming Park City Area Parade of
Homes in August/September 2007.
The nearly three miles of
trails that meander throughout the development
have been completed and paved. The water
features are all installed and some of them are
already running. You can hear the water splash
over the rocks with the picturesque backdrop of
Mount Timpanogos. The street lights are all
installed. The sprinkler pipe is nearly all
installed. We anticipate laying sod and hydro
seeding in June. Tree planting will be right
behind. By July, the open spaces will be in a
beautiful state of completion. The Cascades will
truly be something special to behold.
If you are planning to build
soon, please remember that you need to get
approval on your house plan from the Design
Review Committee before Midway City will give
you final approval. We ask that you submit your
plans to the DRC before applying for a building
permit from Midway City. We will not only help
you comply with the development’s European theme
and Design Guidelines, but we will also give you
helpful tips on how to get your house plan
approved by the City.
